Here’s the logline: “In order to be able to afford a 2BR Brooklyn apartment, an upright, sincere woman decides to cohabitate with one total stranger after the next and makes some outrageous boundary-pushing experiences, forcing her to question her own norms and the human psyche.” Seven episodes or chapters, with a woman as the main protagonist who gets to live with different people – that’s the basic structure of Beautiful and Neat Room. The female lead of the film: 30-35, artist, originally from Europe (speaks with slight accent, but has been in the US for 10+ years), soft-spoken, confident, sincere, responsible, can be straight forward, healthy life-style. This is a PAID gig. We start shooting the film in seven parts, over a period of approx. 10 months, always in the same Brooklyn apartment.
