How To Create Photo Album?

Otsvo allows you to sort and upload your photos into albums.
In your profile menu go to Photos and click on Create Album button

The next screen takes you to the settings of the albums

To create the album, follow these steps:

1. Enter the album name – Album name is required and is free of choice. You can name it whatever you want.
2. Set your privacy of the album to Public, Site Members or Only Me
3. Optional: fill in the description of the album
4. Optional: Add photo location
5. Upload some photos
6. Press Create Album button

Delete the album

To delete the album you have created, follow these steps:

1. Go to your Profile page -> Photos
2. Click Albums tab
3. Click custom album you want to delete
4. Click Remove button

1. Go to your Profile page -> Photos
2. Click Albums tab
3. Click album
4. Click on the photo you want to delete
5. Click the dropdown menu on the top right of the photo
6. Click delete

Change Profile Photo

1. Move cursor to your Avatar on the profile cover
2. Click Change avatar with the camera icon
   
3. A pop-up dialog will appear, click Upload new
4. Select your photo to upload
   
5. Click Crop if you want to crop it, adjust crop position, and click Confirm
   
6. Click Done

1. Move cursor to your Avatar on the profile cover
2. Click Change avatar with the camera icon
3. A pop-up dialog will appear, click Delete
   

Change Cover Photo

1. Move cursor to the profile cover, on the top right corner you’ll see Change cover image button
   
2. Click Change cover image and click Upload new
   
3. Select your photo to upload
   
4. Wait for it to load
   

Cover reposition

1. Move cursor to the profile cover
2. Click Change cover image > Reposition
3. Drag your profile cover up or down for reposition
4. Click Save to save cover position
   

Delete Cover Photo

1. Move cursor to the profile cover
2. Click Change cover image > Delete
   

Go to your profile section > about > preferences > who can see my profile, the available options are public and site members only.

Otsvo currently does not support uploading videos as a profile photo or cover image. However, it is a feature we plan to add later.

If you have a profile photo on Otsvo you can get up to 25 times more profile views than members without. Get recognized! It’s recommended to use a professional headshot however, any photo that does not violate our terms is acceptable.

Your profile tells your story, it’s your pitch. You choose what you share. You do not have to complete your profile beyond the required fields. However, an Otsvo profile that is 100% complete can help you connect with top industry pros which provide for better opportunities. Showcase yourself by adding details about your experience, education, contact information, and more.

Follow / Unfollow

Users can follow other members and see what they post about in your following stream without adding them as your friends. If you don’t want to see their posts on your following stream but you want to remain friends, just unfollow them. New friendships also are marked as people you follow and vice versa when you accept a friend request.

Following Stream

When in Activity Stream you can see everything going on in the community. Whereas, Following allows you to focus on the most important to you things. Your friends, your groups or even people you’re not friends with. Following stream posts only from members & groups you follow. So you won’t see posts from people or groups you don’t follow even if those posts have the privacy settings that allow you to see them. In addition there’s a secondary setting for showing and hiding ‘my posts’. If you don’t want to see your own posts and just focus on others.

On members page you can filter members using various settings.

Change Profile Photo

1. Move cursor to your Avatar on the profile cover
2. Click Change avatar with the camera icon
   
3. A pop-up dialog will appear, click Upload new
4. Select your photo to upload

Users can easily search for groups by clicking the Group tab in the header. When on the group page users can click the cog icon to search for groups by category.

Users can manage everything about Otsvo notifications in Profile > About > Notifications.

To make account changes click on the about tab below your profile photo then click on the account tab. You must enter your current password to make changes.

To create the group chat with multiple connections, navigate to the messages page using any of the envelope icons.

In the top right corner, there will be a “New message” button.

Press this button and the window to add recipients will show up.

Select users you want to start the chat with, write your message and send it.
They will all receive the message in the group conversation.

Users may not always be comfortable with getting messages from entire community and may decide that only their connections can send them new messages.

Users can adjust this setting by going to their profile, then clicking on “About” button and switching to “Preferences” tab.

At the very bottom of the page, there will be multiple options regarding messaging behavior. Checking the “Allow new messages only from friends ” will take effect immediately and only friends will be able to send messages to that user.

Initiating a new chat is possible through different locations on Otsvo.

Users can also start the chat from the connections tab or members tab

You can access all your messages by clicking any of the envelope icons

Reporting a Post

Users can report post content by clicking on the dropdown icon in the top right corner of the stream.

Users can now create polls. The polls can be placed in the main activity stream, in user’s profiles and even in groups. When creating a poll users can set either a:

• single select poll – users can pick just one answer.
• multiple select poll – users can pick more than one answer.

Users can cast their votes once per poll.

Users can create classifieds ads right in the community view. On the navigation bar there will be new menu “Classifieds” which it will pointed to new page “Classifieds Page”.

To add a new ad, click Create button and fill the form.

Click preview and publish your ad.

Users can now create polls. The polls can be placed in the main activity stream, in user’s profiles and even in groups. When creating a poll users can set either a:

• single select poll – users can pick just one answer.
• multiple select poll – users can pick more than one answer.

Users can cast their votes once per poll.

Otsvo streams can easily be searched for by hashtags, or keywords.
The search is available on main activity stream, profile stream as well as group streams.

• Community – user will be able to chose whether to show post from the entire Otsvo community or from people within their network only
• Show my posts – user will be able to chose whether to show their own posts or not
• Magnifier icon – allows the user to search for a keywords or exact match
• Hashtag icon – allows the user to search for hashtags
